Congratulations to Cleveland senior Alex Rovello, who recently became the first boy in Oregon 5A high school tennis to win four state singles championships. Alex will play for the University of Oregon next year. And congratulations to the entire Cleveland boy’s tennis team, coached by Darryl Kealy, which won the state 5A tennis title, narrowly beating Churchill High School for the championship. This is Cleveland’s first state tennis title and the first state boys championship in any sport in the school’s history.
